Pedro Tudela — Tangente

“Tangente” encapsulates the essence of Pedro Tudela’s work, where different elements come together, interact and intertwine to form an apparently noisy and complex relationship.

This notion of tangency resonates with subjects such as recovery, appropriation, impermanence, difference, ephemerality and nature.

As if it were a web of nets, it provides a lens through which we can appreciate and reach its result in a more critical and expressive way. The design of this web, made up of audio cables, aligns itself in place as a support and is flattened in space by the influx of intermittent light. This place, which is also ours, dissipates in the perception, which becomes ephemeral and tangential.

In addition to appearance, there is a web of sound, where sounds intertwine and vibrate, creating an interaction that is both rhythmic and organic, textured and chaotic.
